Awareness Campaigns
- We aim to raise awareness of the health benefits to people of all ages drinking
more water, as most people do not consume enough of water on a daily basis;
- We educate people how to improve the quality of their drinking water, how to save and protect drinking water resources in communities we live in, and how to help people in need for fresh, safe and healthy drinking water;
FreshWaterAlert
- Is an independent and nonpartisan education and outreach program;
- Was designed to increase awareness on drinking water and freshwater topics;
- Is a turn-key partnership awareness fundraiser program;
- Is a fast growing global network of volunteers, organizations, individuals, businesses, educators, environmental, and health professionals;
- FreshWaterAlert fundraiser proceeds will help our partners, and people in need for safe drinking water around the world.
We inform the general public about the following:
- Drinking
water is essential, it is important for your health, figure and well-being;
- Water is the best, but it only helps you if you drink it;
- You should make drinking more water part of your daily routine, as every system in
your body depends on water;
- Your body is 90 percent water and needs water for digestion, healthy skin,
blood circulation, temperature control and many other reasons;
- The natural
choice for hydration is water, as it hydrates better than any other liquid, both
before and during exercise;
- Tap water is much less expensive, and more available
than bottled water or other drinks;
- You need to drink 4-6 ounces of water for
every 15-20 minutes of exercise;
- Water is the substance of life, as it helps you keep well hydrated, and stay
healthy;
- Life can not exist without water. We must constantly be adding freshwater to our body in order to keep it properly hydrated;
- Water can be a miracle
cure for many common ailments such as headaches, fatigue, joint pain, and much
more;
- Drink even more water
whenever you increase your physical activity, during hot weather, while eating
high fiber diet, at high altitudes, in low humidity locations, and when you’re
sick;
- The best way to know if you’re drinking enough water is to look at your
urine. It should be a very light shade of yellow. Drink more water if it’s
darker;
- Let your thirst guide you. You might need to drink less water to feel hydrated
on a mild day and crave more water if it’s hot or you’re exercising;
- Stop! living
in a dehydrated world!
